Thanksgiving Day here in the USA is one week from tomorrow! Did it sneak up on you as it did me? Well, just in case you needed a friendly reminder…..
I have some tips and tricks for making any holiday meal less stressful.
Make Your Holiday Meal Less Stressful – Prepare The Leftovers First! is a post I published last year. It has helped many friends to rethink how they “usually” do big meals around the holidays, and they are able to relax and enjoy their company more. (I know the photo of the turkey below is not the prettiest presentation, but, there’s a reason why it looks the way it does.)
Check it out. Give some of my ideas a try. You’ll be glad you did!
And, while you’re at it, make up The Best Pumpkin Pie Ever using my recipe and just TRY to tell me it’s not the best you’ve ever tasted!
Not only is this the holiday season, it is also, cold and flu season. Prepare a batch of my Chicken Soup recipe and freeze it quart-size freezer containers so you’ll have some in case you need it. (Guess how I know to do this.)
Today is a good day to plan to be prepared!
Have a Blessed holiday season!
Diane
Great tips Diane! I am going to show my husband your knock-kneed turkey…sounds like a great plan to keep that breast meat moist. And 2 turkeys rather than one…BRILLIANT!!
Thanks! Divine inspiration, for sure!
