Yep. That’s me with no make-up, hair in a clip because I had to get up at 3:30am and work at my day job, and horrified to discover the blog subscription mess. (Hey, just keeping it real.)
I looked up the synonyms for the word “snafu”, and what I found describes what has happened perfectly!
Here are some of my favorites:
ball up, blunder, boggle, botch, bungle, foul up, fumble, gum up, mess up, mishandle, muddle, muff, muck up, goof up, louse up, screw up, jumble, mix up
The list of words went on, but I chose these to describe the predicament I found myself in.
There has been a problem with subscriptions to my blog posts. Some people have told me they don’t get my blog posts in their email inbox. Others have told me they don’t get a confirmation email. Some have said they used to get my blog posts, but haven’t gotten anything in a long while.
I believe the “snafu” has been resolved, thanks to the Happiness Engineers at Pressable, WordPress, and JetPack. Yay!
So, for those of you who have had trouble subscribing to my blog posts, please try again. You should get a confirmation email now. When you get it, just click confirm and you should be signed up.
If, for some reason, you do not get a confirmation email after clicking “Subscribe”, please email me directly at diane@lookoutmountainquilter.com and I will find a way to get you signed up.
If you are already a subscriber, but haven’t received any posts in a while, I invite you check out the posts, tutorials, patterns, and recipes I’ve added.

Finally, I’d like to say a great, big THANK YOU! for your interest in my website. I’m having a blast building this site, designing patterns, (soon to be available in PDF form) making quilts, expanding my machine quilting skills, building things to make quilting easier, and sharing all of that with you!
Today is a very good day to make something! Or, resolve something!
Diane
